The purpose of this study was to designing an Information Management Model for Entrepreneurship Education in Rural Areas of Ilam Province The methodology of the study was descriptive using Delphi technique. Purposive sampling was used in this study and 15 experts including faculty members, managers and experts were selected and participated in three stages of Delphi research. In the third round of Delphi, the final model consisted of seven components (data collection, data storage, data quality control, data analysis, information dissemination, documentation and information sharing and utilization) and 22 sub-components were approved by experts. The results showed that in order to apply the entrepreneurial education information management system, it is necessary to identify the required information (economic, social, cultural, infrastructure, ecological, etc.) in rural areas. To store information, data should be entered into a system designed to manage the entrepreneurship education information system. Also, according to the results of this study, quality control, analysis, dissemination, documentation and exchange of entrepreneurship education system data will be done by the Office of Coordination of Economic Affairs of the Governor.

The main purpose of the study was to analyze the entrepreneurial competencies of the managers of rural women cooperative (RWC) in Hamedan province. The study used a survey method with a questionnaire as the main instrument. Data were collected from a sample of 105 managers. The validity of the questionnaire was verified by a panel of experts and its reliability was measured using Cronbach's alpha coefficient (α=0.94). Entrepreneurial competencies of managers were classified into eight factors, including “having strategic goals”, “ability to monitor and organize subordinates”, “risk-taking”, “ability to motivate and trust people”, “having a positive attitude and criticism”, “ability to identify and understand the needs of customers”, “public relation ability”, and “acquiring and applying skills and energy”. Structural equation modeling (SEM) by LISREL8.8 software was used to estimate a model for the entrepreneurial competencies of RWC managers. Results of SEM showed a good fit of the model with eight factors described before. The fit indices were placed in three main groups including goodness of fit index, comparative fit index, and parsimonious goodness of fit index. The results showed an excellent fit of the indices selected to measure the entrepreneurial competencies of RWC managers with observed variables in Hamedan province.

The purpose of this research was to identify the factors affecting research practices development (RPD) regarding entrepreneurship in agricultural higher education, case study Islamic Azad University, Khouzestan Province, Iran. Faculty members in Islamic Azad University, Khouzestan Province were considered as statistical population. The sample size based on Cochran formula was determined (n=210). Stratified random sampling was used to select faculty members. A researcher-made questionnaire was employed for data collection. Its validity was confirmed by content validity and its total reliability was estimated by Cronbach's alpha as to be 0.81. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe RPD performance regarding entrepreneurship in agricultural higher education and inferential statistics to analyzing factors affecting on RDP. The results of the factor analysis showed that four factors such as encouraging researchers to research in entrepreneurship (MF1), institutionalization of entrepreneurship in academic research (MF2), establishing proper communication between the university and industry (SF) and creating the necessary rules and infrastructure for the commercialization of knowledge regarding entrepreneurship (LF) were identified as factors affecting the research practices development (RPD) regarding entrepreneurship in agricultural higher education which explained 62.55% of the total variance altogether. The result of the structural equation modeling (SEM) revealed that, it can be seen that the predictive positive effect of MF1 to RDP is supported (β=0.38, t-value=4.86, p<0.001). In addition, MF2 has a positive effect on RDP (β=0.39, t-value=5.08, p<0.001). Also the LF has a positive effect on RDP (β=0.31, t-value=4.05, p<0.001). MF2, SF and LF also have a significant impact on MF1. The findings showed that R2 for RDP was 0.53. So that, these four construct (MF1, MF2, SF and LF) determinants accounts for 62% of the variance in the RDP.

Agriculture is one of the pillars of economics and its development requires a particular attention to all production factors. This paper aims to provide a systematic and conceptual model that is based on a conceptualization of the field. For this purpose, the theory and methodology based on data derived from field observations and interviews drawn from a systematic conceptual model of key informants, was extracted. The current model shows that original category of agriculture business i.e. business growth is originated from causal conditions including personal features, supportive roles, and production factors and based on evaluation strategies and the exploitation of opportunities leads to new value based on business growth as a result of the process. Underlying conditions, such as individual factors, and geographical conditions as well as environmental conditions, including the government, the legislature, and banks are effective in this process. Understanding the aspects of business growth is effective in formulating policies to support and promote entrepreneurship. Moreover, designing a growth model to help business owners select a definition for firm growth is essential. It is noteworthy that until now, the majority of the proposed models have been ineffective in some aspects and more attention is needed for future growth modeling in research areas.

Increasing rate of unemployment among the graduates of Iranian higher agricultural education system has been developed into one of the major socio-economic problems of the nation. Entrepreneurship is one of the most important factors contributing to economic and social development, that is, it is a main driver for employment creation. As such, many policy initiatives in Iran attempt to pull agricultural students toward an entrepreneurial career choice. In this regard, considering the importance of entrepreneurship, and applying Ajzen’s (1991) theory of planned behavior, the present study was conducted to investigate the factors affecting entrepreneurial behavior of agricultural students in Razi University. The population of this study consisted of all senior agricultural students of Razi University in Iran (N=300), 169 of whom were selected as the sample using the proportional stratified sampling method. Data were analyzed by SPSS and AMOS version23 software in two phases of descriptive and inferential statistics. Results of structural equation modeling revealed that personal attitude toward entrepreneurship, perceived behavioral control, and subjective norm were the main predictors of entrepreneurial intention (R2=0.46) and behavior (R2=0.45) among agricultural students. The findings of this study can have practical implications concerning the promotion of entrepreneurial intention and behavior among agricultural students for higher agricultural education managers, planners, and educators.
